Hancock Bungalow (Residential)
Our client Mary has lived in and loved her home for more than 20 years, and Paul joined her there about 8 years ago. As they near retirement, they want to make improvements to enjoy their home more fully as they ease in to their later years. Seamlessly integrating lifestyles with this 1929 bungalow, we identified energy efficient enhancements to the historic home while creating new spaces in the character of the original design. Additions include a new, gracious kitchen complete with a vaulted wood ceiling, marble and cherry countertops, custom cabinetry, and beautiful hardwood floors, a larger master bedroom and closet, and a spacious new master bathroom. Historic lighting was restored and supplemented throughout, providing a finishing touch to this lovely, comfortable home.
